Executive Head Housekeeper
Are you passionate about maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness? Do you have a keen eye for detail and the ability to lead a diverse team?
We are recruiting for an Executive Head Housekeeper to join our team at De Vere Beaumont Estate a 429 bedroom hotel, located in Old Windsor.
As the Executive Head Housekeeper you will be responsible for setting, monitoring and maintaining the highest level of housekeeping and guest service standards. Your attention to detail will ensure that our guests enjoy meticulously clean rooms and memorable moments throughout their stay. You will monitor and control equipment and linen to ensure suitable stocks are maintained and costs are controlled.
With two Assistant Managers, eight Supervisors and a large team of Housekeeping Assistants, Linen Porters and Public Area cleaners. you will lead by example, fostering a culture of warmth where colleagues feel appreciated. By building genuine relationships with your team, you will create a sense of belonging, empowering them to take pride in their work.
In addition you will act at Duty Manager as and when required.
Your skills and experience:
• You have previous experience, ideally in a similar property and role
• You have strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of colleagues to deliver a consistent level of service
• You are well organised with good time management skills, prioritising tasks, managing work schedules and rotas to meet operational demands
• You are IT literate – previous experience of using Opera or Fourth hospitality would be advantageous although not essential
