Head Gardener

In return the role offers a salary of £30,576 per annum plus excellent benefits including meals on duty in our colleague canteen, a paid day off for your birthday & an annual complimentary 2 night stay at a property of your choice to name a few!
The role of Head Gardener will involve establishing, maintaining and managing the gardens to the highest horticultural standards. You will be essential in leading and guiding your team to ensure the gardens are kept to the highest standards. You will be passionate about delivering the best experience for our visitors and guests and instrumental in the creation and restoration of our outdoor spaces.
Your skills & experience:
- Previous experience in lawn care, hedge cutting, pruning, weeding, planting and associated garden tasks
- Strong knowledge of plants & their care with an interest in historic gardens
- Skilled at using & maintaining gardening machinery
- Ability to work both independently and as part of the wider hotel team
- A positive attitude with good attention to detail
